Okay, I think what we need is time to cool off, which is perfect now, since it's the weekend. Let us make one thing clear: Everyone is welcome to make new friends, to spend recess with them, etc. We are all certainly happy that everyone is expanding their social circle, because realistically speaking, as we all mature, we will all definitely change, and we could change with our old friends, or we could drift apart. I don't think it is necessary for all of us to always spend recess with each other, and I don't think it's fair to anyone - I'm not pointing fingers here - if we get angry or anything with them just because they do not want to spend recess with us. That is just downright selfish if we restrict anyone. What they are doing is making new friends, but not forgetting the old. The recesses spent with each other does not define our friendship. Certainly, do not only spend time with the remaining bunch of us only because your other friends have left without you or anything. What we need to achieve is balance between two sides. Set aside one or two days to join your old friends and everything should be fine. I don't think we should force anyone to have recess with us, and if they decide to come back, we assume that we are just back-up friends. As friends, don't you think that we should welcome that person back with open arms? We are friends because of friendship's sake itself. Not because we spend all our time with each other. Let us all assume that I make friends with person A, and we have similar interests, we have similar perspectives and thinking styles, are you all going to restrict me from spending time with her? Are all of you going to regard me as an ingrate when I spend less time with you than that aforementioned person? If that is true, I think we should rethink our decisions and ponder over what our friendship really is about. Let us not harp on the friends drifting apart topic, because if our friendship proves to be real, I reckon we will stay binded despite us making new friends and spending time with them.

I love all of you, and if I could, I would never want to separate myself from all of you, but if you all really think realistically, do you honestly think it's possible that every single one of us will stay in contact? As we move on, be it different classes, different schools, we definitely won't be as close as we all were in secondary one. We may still be friends, when we pass we may still say hi and things, but it doesn't mean that we will maintain our level of closeness. There is a prime example here, I was very very very close to someone from P5 to P6, but in Secondary one, we both started changing, we clicked with other people who we share things with. We are still good friends, but it doesn't mean that she is still my ultimate best friend.

The bottom line is this: Everyone changes, and we will definitely drift apart, but it doesn't mean that we won't remain as friends. Let other people have recess with their new friends if they wish to do so, because that is how we all grow up and rediscover ourselves. I will repeat myself once more, our friendship is not based on how many recesses we go out with each other. Our friendship is defined by the bond we feel for each other, so say ten years from now, it is possible for us to become complete strangers, but it also possible that we will remain as friends. It's great to spend time with each other now and then, but it isn't necessary for every day, is it? Seeing how close we are, we will probably stay friends. And I hope that will never change, but as I've said before, everything changes.

Now don't start getting pissed and going insane at me just because I pointed this out. I am just taking a look from another perspective, and since none of this really concerns me, you can take this post and my opinion as an objective view. Feel free to comment on this, but please don't go crazy and angry and start yelling like crazy at me and saying how dare I think of this and how on earth can I ever mention the possibility of splitting up and maybe if that's how I feel maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore.

I am not saying I don't treasure our friendships, I am just saying: be open to changes.
